Today, we played against Orchid Park...... Elani hurt her finger so Kristine had to replace her... 1st yining, i managed to hit a line-drive towards left field.... luckily the ball didn't pass the 3rd base line. We managed to score 2 runs in and gave them 4 runs due to our errors.... sigh.... i was apparently dreaming away because i didn't cover 1st base 2 times..... At the 3rd yining, we had to stop the game because there was lightning.... i took the time to reflect at my mistakes.... we waited for awhile before the game was resumed.... we manage to hold them.. giving them no chance to score a point.... Jayne made a mavelous play.... she went to field the ball in front of her... eventhough she fell down... she threw the ball to Pei Qi (2nd baseman)... and got the runner out.... In the end, we lost to Orchid Park... 4-14.... This was the last game for the Sec 4s.... so my Coach told us all to say something about their experience and feelings for the game or softball... I was very touched by some of the speeches they gave... as they really inspired me to be a better player.... I am grateful to the Sec 4s as they showed us that they never once gave up and persevere on eventhough some of them were injured.... C'girls and Sec 3s had someone to look up to but the Sec 4s didn't had...... To the Sec 4s... Aligato....... continue to strive hard on what you desire and hope that you will achieve your goals and hopes in life...... We juniors will work hard to win championship next year.......
