Firstly, i would like to say a big THANK YOU to all the teachers that taught me in Fajar Secondary.... i will really miss them a lot as they really raised me to who i am today.. and without them, i would not to achieving good results and learning values of life... Today, although it rained, that didn't dampened our mood... We arrived in school at 7am and started to give our handmade cookies to our teachers.... (Went to Jing Wei's house to bake cookies yesterday together with Jasmine... It took us about 2-3 hours to bake, pack and write cards to them....)
Most importantly, we had our class contact time with our class concellor, precious as we are able to spend quality time talking to Miss Kum... I was really touched by what she said...... Next, we had a mini-concert to express our gratitude towards our wonderful teachers..... I would like to show my appreciations to the following teachers....
Miss Kum - The ever wonderful class concellor who shows concern to each of everyone of her students.... The BEST chinese teacher one can ever find who changed my attitude towards learning chinese..... Makes her lessons interesting by telling us stories and listened to her jokes... I began to like chinese and for that i am grateful to her.... Eventhough her health is not very good, she always tries her best to come so that she can spend her time to bond with us which i admire the most about her....
Mr Royston Lee - He is like a father figure that take care for 43 children...... Cares about our class the most by taking his time to advice us about our future and by teaching us moral values like respecting people.... He teaches Maths slowly so that everyone is able to catch up and hopely understand.... Always cracking jokes about himself to lighten up the mood of our class when he sees that our class is on the verge of dying (of boredom).... Always looking out for us and pushes us to do our best in life....
Mrs Teo - A role model who shows us that determination is the key to success... She is always conducting extra lessons so that her students would be able to excel.... patient as she will repeat her explaination until everyone in our class understands it perfectly..... Tolerant and cheerful eventhough we tend to be noisy....
Mr Yong - A teacher who is hilarious and funny..... who knows how to relate with his students the best.... Passionate about teaching so much so that he managed to set a record of 2 years without MC.... Never scolded our class before eventhough we did not pass up our homework.... His class is always full of excitement to learn.....
Mr Sim - The most patient teacher.... He keeps on teaching eventhough most of the class is making noise.... A teacher with great knowledge that tries his best to get the attention from our class....
Mr Eddy - The best geography teacher.... He is always updating us with the lastest news relating to geography.... A teacher that tries to make the lesson interesting..... He is patient as he also would clear the doubts of students.... He tries his best to manage two classes together and i think he has done a great job in that...
Miss Neo - A teacher who inspires her softballers.... She is always there to encourage and support us.... She is like a pillar and without her, our softball team will not be who they are today..... Shaped each and everyone of us, softballers, to be people who can excel in the future... Always spur our team on by cheering at the sidelines and gives good advice to her players....
Mr Zailani - A wise teacher with a great sense of humour.... he turns a boring subject to a subject that is interesting... i am always amused by his jokes and knowledge about the world.... Never is his lesson boring or dull.... Instil on us the importance of learing about news of the world and Singapore....
Mrs Madhu - A teacher that believes that every student has the ability to shine and do well in English... She always stress on the importance of English to survive in the working world..... spices up her lesson by talking about her life and her trips around the world.... just hearing her talk makes me feel that i am learning a lot from her...
Mrs Lim - Her stories has touched many people..... her will power to live her life the fulliest is a great example to many.... Strongly believes in determination to live.... and makes her lesson interesting by sharing with her students about how she managed to cross that difficult hurdle of her life.... made us realized that life is precious and we should cherish the ones we love before they die....
To all the teachers in Fajar, I wish you a "Happy Teachers' Day".....
now you notice i talk a lot!
