I decided to do my own movie review about Step Up the movie since i had watched it....

The Movie is about: The story revolves around two different worlds.... Tyler Gage (CHANNING TATUM), a boy who lives in the streets with no goals and desires for his future, always hanging out in clubs to party with his 2 other best buddies. Nora (JENNA DEWAN), on the other hand is the school’s prima ballerina, an alluring diva whose dream is to dance and enter the all pretigate dance school. But both of them had the same passion: Dancing. Tyler, who was caught wrecking the stage of the music school of arts, had to serve 200 hours of community services. Nora's partner, apparently injured his ankle and she was desperate to find a replacement for the school’s all-important Senior Showcase. She ended up seeing Tyler showing his moves and decided to talk to the principle upon allowing Tyler to be her replacement partner for a couple of weeks before her partner recovers. Things started to change for Tyler as he realised that he wanted to stop wasting his life away and wanted to finish his studies here in the music school of arts. But, the principle of the school gave him her words that she will discussed only when she saw the desire in him to enter this school. Tension grew when Nora's partner apparently came back and Tyler was forced to choose between Nora and his two best friends. Tyler left Nora, blaming her for using him as an replacement. During a party, Tyler's friend aka Skinny was shot to death when he stole a car from a bunch of gangsters and that was an immediate blow to him and to his brother. Tyler then made an important decision, a decision that would change the rest of his life. His friend gave him the encouragement and Tyler went bolting towards the stage where Nora was about to perform her senior showcase. It was there where the group kicked off and performed a wonderful routine. Nora got a scholarship and Tyler had shown his worthy of the music school of arts after all....
Funny Moments: Definetely the part where Tyler had to prove that he was trustworthly. He had to attend a Ballay lesson where Nora was the instructor. He was surrounded by kids dressed in their tutus and was glared at by a young girl.... That was hilarous.
How i wished...: that the newspapers and magazines rated better. Apparently the best rating i saw so far is a three out of five. Come on, this movie deserves a better rating. Hmm... perhapes they don't like dancing or they are looking more for a story line then those dance moves.
Plus Points: Ciara new song - Get Up.... A really funky and nice track. And besides, throughout the movie, you could not help but feeling that Tyler and Nora make a GREAT couple together!!!The Choreography for the dance was great. Oh come on, i'm a dance freak, i like to watch movies which involves dancing....
Those people who should watch: Viewers who enjoy dancing and those who like good looking characters hehe...Those people who Especially think that art schools are for people who see numbers and faint. People who look down on art schools should really reflect upon themselves because students there are dying just to enter the school and practice practically everyday just to get a job or scholarship relating their interests in the arts.
Recommended Movie: If you enjoy Step Up, go watch Take the Lead. Another movie that inspires many drop out students to dream again and persue their passion for dancing....
