On 4th jan, i had my very first camp in JJC which is the orientation camp. I remembered feeling very negative about this camp. I felt that having a camp at such an early date was not good as we barely knew each other. I was enlisted to OG 15 and sadly i had no fajarians who were in the same group as me.. (apparently only 5 of us from fajar went to JJC.... most of them went to PJC instead boo...) Having to meet new friends was quite a challenge for me... but since we will be going to spend the rest of the 3 days together, i plucked up the courage to make the first move to approach them. I knew that if i were to wait for someone to start talking to me, i will be waiting like forever... We started to introduce to each other and things were looking positive.... The wet games were fantastic.... the games were something that i had never ever experiece before and i enjoyed it very much.... we played water bombs (i got blasted by some idiot on the side of my neck and Yong Cheg that dude thought that i had a love bite... T_T super lame!!), rolled around the mat filled with flour and soap (Yes flour... very sticky, disguisting, yucky), got soaked in this pool of soapy water.... (very shoik), participated in the telematches where we competed against other groups... it was very fun.... many of us went wild and crazy.... the night games on the 1st day were super tiring.... we were playing this big board game where we had to throw a dice and try to reach 99..... (something like snake and ladder)... we ended up running up and down... i was exhausted and i couldn't sleep at all.... (slept at only at 1.30am and woke up 2 times...) i could only bathe at 5am because after the wet games, the toilets were packed with people and even changing seems impossible... the food there was okay... (didn't expect anything fantastic).. The second day was better... we started with PT (physical torture.... hahah not really...) and started our wet game activities again... and i finally managed to get a chance to bathe because i really ran to the toilet to get a shower... At night, it was the JJC night where we went wild and crazy of course.... The best part of the camp was the mass dance... we had to dance with a boy so it was fun.. (haha... boys quite shy lolx...) At the JJC night, we sang, dance, party, screamed, cheered.... The hall was very stuffy and hot... The last day was sad as we had to say our goodbyes to our leaders and friends.... it was emotional because we actually bonded real well together.... (there were some crying moments.... sniff sniff).. The OG leaders were the BEST because they really sacrifice themselves in order to serve us.... They are always the ones who serve our food, tried to encourage us to cheer eventhough we were feeling tired, sacrifice their sleep in order to plan wonderful activities, lost their voices upon cheering, always looking postive and tried very hard to brighten our day... To all the OG leaders.... a BIG SINCERE THANK YOU!!! I will never forget this camp becuase it had impacted me the most...
now you notice i talk a lot!
