Today was the last match for the softball B'girls. It was against First Toa Payoh at Fajar at 9am. Krist, Jayne, Yee Sin, Jayne and I went down to support them. It was the last match for the majority of the girls as this year is their O'levels and it was the last match for my Coach as well. He decided to pursue his career and his decision to leave was a difficult one. With that in mine as a motivation to perform better, the girls did exceptionally well and every single one of them hit the ball real hard with sheer power. It was definitely one of the most memorable game. My softball junior Jasmine, broke a bat into two while batting. She was so stunned and that caused her to be out at 1st base. Many of us laughed when we saw the state of the broken bat. My Coach said that it was a sign to buy new bats haha... We managed to hit the ball, causing FTP to make the errors and eventually won the game, 16-7... After the match, they had an emotional session with Coach and most of them broke down into tears including Coach. Definitely, Coach's presence has impacted in us in some way or another. Coach had mould me into a person with integrity and morals and without his scolding and advice, i would not be the person i am today. I did not regret presevering to continue those tough trainings and i feel that it is worth it. After all those teary moments, we ate the cake that Mr Anbu bought for Coach and the team and started having fun. We ended up throwing water at each other and i was not spared. I would not forget this day and Coach, Thank You!
