When i signed up for this camp, i expected this camp to be a fun and exciting because of the persuasiveness from the student unions themselves but it turned out to be jigoku (hell in japanese).. On the first day, we were introduced to our family consisting of a daddy and mummy (group leaders) and our fellow brothers and sisters.. When we reached the campsite (sembawang campsite), we were feeling all gear up and our first activity was the flag making. We were supposed to go to the varies stations to collect our materials (such as paint, cloth, flag pole etc) I thought we were supposed to play a game or so to earn our materials but we ended up getting a shock. The GPs were fierce and practically screaming at us.. yes screaming... they expected us to greet them together as a family... if we were to act hero or voice out alone, we were given punishment and it wasn't a pretty sight. My brother got masking tape on his mouth for voicing out for us. It was the start of hell.... Lunch wasn't so bad as the cooks (made up of students from student union themselves were very friendly)... but we had to great everybody first before entering the lahola palace... After lunch, we had to assemble outside the park and we were all blindfolded... we had to endure the mud, crap (consisting of food, rice or wadever).. IT SUX A LOT!! 2nd day was the worst.... we played the intiate game and the girls started to cry (including me)... i couldn't take it anymore and one of the friend ran away because she couldn't stand the insults anymore... We spent an hour or so talking to our daddy and mummy.... and also trying to persuade our fellow family members to stay... Our daddy and mummy talked to us and insisted us to stay because they said they had gone through worst things than us and we will have fun in the end... I decided to endure because i wanted to see the fun side of this camp and my hp and wallet was with them so i can't leave.. haha.. The last activity for the 2nd day was the treasure hunt... The scolding was worst as we were targetted one by one... I had to stand alone and shout my lungs out... it wasn't so bad as my other family members had physical torture such as remaining in the push up positions, and some of them had to do stupid things such as talking to the dustbin, hugging the tree... yeah... STUPID is the word for this... The 3rd day was the most surprising one... the GPs were angels and we had fun... serious fun... we played tug of war, had to cook our own lunch by going to the varies stations to collect our ingredients and utensils.. (some of the activities we had to go through were to hold a frog and counting to 10, had to pull up our pants and invert our shirts and sing a song, having to beg our daddy to wear a bikini... yah... all those silly lame stuff)... Campfire was funny as the guys from each family had to dress up as girls... it was hilarous and everyone laughed their heads off... The campfire item we had to put up for our family was a failure as we did not know how to act and present.... The worst part was the part where i accidentally dirty my fellow sister's jacket She was extremely upset and started to scold me.. She demanded an apology and i gave her that and even offered to wash her jacket for her... It was only the last day where she kind of accepted my apology..Anyway, we did not get to sleep because we danced the whole night and talked to our fellow family members and GPs.... (if we were to sleep, we will get stuff on our bodies...)... I did not get to sleep until 5.30pm... because i had to wash that useless jacket and my stuff... Definitely this camp, i did regret going for this camp because i had to endure useless mental torture but i did make great friends with my fellow brothers... (apparently i bond with my brothers more than my sisters... maybe because the brothers were nice guys... )... Anyway, intially i wanted to join SU... but after going through this, i did not want to join.. it is not me to insult other people and i feel that by putting down people, it reflects badly on your own character and the stigma will always remain there... Memorable camp i must say, really memorable in a bad way...

now you notice i talk a lot!
