I haven't been blogging for quite sometime already and many of my friends were wondering when i would update my blog hehe... This week was one of the most hectic and busiest week that i had throughout the 8 weeks here in Singapore poly. On Monday, we went to do our CIP hours in Bishan Homes for the intellectual disabled people... our class went to do gardening and it proved to be quite fun.... Wednesday was my Japanese test and i kinda screwed it up because i had forgotten how to properly reply my teacher during the Oral.. but other than that, the written and listening test was pretty easy and managable.... We even celebrated Jun Hao's birthday on that day and one of the highlight was he got a birthday greeting from his "favourite" teacher: Mrs Sharon Tan, our accounts lecturer and tutorial. Boy, was he embarassed when she told everyone in the lecture that it was Jun Hao of DBF 1A04 birthday today... haha... On top of my busy schedule, we had a marketing project of OSIM which was to be presented on Friday. The marketing project proved to be a big challenge for me and my group members : Jun hao and Eveline... Our group was of disadvantage as compared to other groups because of our group size. In the begining, my group was made up of 4 people including myself... but that one person dropped the bombshell on us last friday that he decided to do the project on his own. I was really angry at him... simply because of the fact that he did not mentioned to me and my group members at an earlier stage... But since he did not contribute at all in our project... (kept giving us useless information on OSIM)... his decision to leave the group was a good one on my perpective... Luckily, our group managed to gel very well and we were able to communicate and finish our project in time... (eventhrough we still did last minute work)... We decided to go first as we wanted to present before him and get it over with...Our presentation went okay but our recommendations and solutions did not do so well as compared to other groups as we lack the support and findings of the specific recommendations and solutions. When my ex-group member went up to present, everyone in my class had one objective: To keep shooting him questions... His presentation had points that my group had presented and it made us very angry because he had our previous powerpoint slides on OSIM which we had done before during the last week. He had many sweeping statements and there were too many loopholes in the presentation... My group and I immediately spoted many questions to ask him and i had to even stopped Jun Hao from asking him... LOL... The other groups presented well and Mr Teo even commented on a particular group : Yan Li's group, for giving the best recommendations... I had learn many points on how to improve my presentations and hopely we will be able to do even better for CA2 which will be presented in Week 15.... After the presentation, all of my classmates were mentally drained as some of them slept really late... one of my friend Eugene did not even sleep yesterday and slept only for a few hours the day before... After the presentation, i felt that a huge burden has lifted from me and i could relax now before starting on my next project.... CA2!!
now you notice i talk a lot!
