We finally had our 2 weeks of break from the hectic life of poly!!! Firstly, it's my birthday today.... YAY... Happy Birthday to ME!!! Officially 17 this year... woooahhh... The joy of turning 17... hmmm.. not much i guess haha... can't watch m18 movies legally...cannot go to certain casinos.... cannot go to pubs yet.... but to make it up, i did have a wonderful time this week. On tuesday, the Perfect 10 (me and my clique) excluding madam Isabel.. went out to Orchard Road to relax. As usual, I was one of the earliest that arrived at Orchard MRT control station and had to wait for my other friends. What is this trend about girls waiting for guys all the time?? Maybe it is just my guy classmates who are perpetually late or has the order changed (guys normally wait for girls right?) We waited for an hour for everyone to come (12pm) and walked around Wisma Atria as it was raining.... My friends were looking for formal wear and we spent quite sometime at TOPMAN... Eventually, we ate our lunch at around 2 plus and continued shopping... We landed up in K-box and it was my first time in K-box. Initially, i was kind of relectant because i thought that K-box only has Chinese songs but in fact they even have Japanese, Korean and English too... It was really fun and we did get to see some of my friends singing really well... (most of them were rather shocking hahaa, especially Benjamin...<---S.H.E expert)... We sang our hearts out and i reached home at around 11 plus... On thursday, i met up with Pei Qi and Mel at Bukit Timah Plaza and we played Pool... I was a total newbie and had to observe and learn how to play... It was pretty fun and i was kind of addicted to it haha.. After that, Mel took me to a place where her mum was working... There, was a Karaoke, a small pub and a pool table. We took many pictures together and sang together some songs... I tried red wine for my first time and it wasn't so bad... but after that big sip of the red wine.. i started to have a terrible headache at the right side of my head.... Urgh.. Alcohol is definetely not good for the human body.... I had a terrific time there and i received presents too hehe.. A lovely card made by two of them and a pair of expensive Birkenstone Sandals.. (wahh... sure cost a bomb)... Thanks girls... Love yah!!!! Yesterday, on the way home, we were stuck in a massive traffic jam and like i guess it, it was an accident. A serious accident that involved 3 cars and a Tranlink bus... 2 of the cars (white and red) were in terrible state as the front of both the cars were severly dented... The red car was smashed against the Translink bus and was on fire... It was really fightening as my Dad just drove passed the site and i was habouring thoughts that the car might explode because of the fire (hmm... maybe i watched too many dramatic shows..).. It created a scene and many of the residents from my condo and Bukit Regency crowded around the accident site... It was until about 11 plus where the fire engineers, medics and policemen came. The fire was put off and traffic was directed by the policemen. Another accident, hopefully it is not fatal....
