Yesterday at 12 noon, my classmates and i were eagerly online to check our results for this semester. I was up at around 9.30am and was pretty anxious as time went by. At 12 noon, i logged on to SAS and i saw my results:
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS IN BUSINESS I : A
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT : A
FUNDAMENTAL OF MARKETING : A
EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION : C+
Semester GPA: 3.769
Cumulative GPA: 3.769
Was really happy for my marketing... i worked really hard for it... I expected a bad grade for effective communication because it was tough for me and a C+ (65-69) was a mark that i was satisfied with. It seems that English is my flaw for O'levels and even now.... so i must really buck up on that area...
At around 7.15pm yesterday, while having my dinner, my sisters and i felt that the whole house was shaking and maybe thought that our neighbouring country was experiencing an earthquake and we quickly tuned in to channel news asia. True enough, Indonesia had an earthquake of magnitude 7.9! It wasn't the first time for me to experience the tremors, in fact it was the second time. It was a pretty scary feeling and i initially felt that the whole house was going to collapse any minute...
now you notice i talk a lot!
