On 23rd of August, we (Eveline, Wan Ling, William, Ben and I) went to the Japanese Natsu Matsuri (Summer Festival) which was held at the Japanese School near Changi... We met at Expo MRT at around 6pm and took a shuttle bus there... Eventhough it was raining, there were lots of people who actually went for the event... I saw quite a number of people wearing Yukatas so it was really cute.... Our purpose for going to this event was that Wan Ling, William and I volunteered to be the helpers (those who will clear up the place) in order to get CCA points while Eveline and Ben wanted to accompy and at the same time, experience what is the festival about... Due to the rain, many performances were not shown and there were tons of people who were at the canteen... There were many shops (Food, Games, stalls selling Japanese stuff) around and walking around was tough simply because there were too many people.. We bought bento sets for our dinner...It was not until 8.30pm that we were called to meet up the teacher in charge to know what is install for us... apparently we will be moving and stacking those tables that were used.... It was hard work as we had to work under the rain!... When we were done, it was around 10 plus and the best part was yet to come... we walked around the stalls and those kind stall vendors actually gave us free drinks and food.. There was a nice uncle that actually gave Asahi beer for FREE... Well i tried abit of it... don't really like the taste of beer... After the debrief, we caught the last shuttle bus back to Expo MRT which was the 11pm bus.... Had to call back to ask Papa to fetch both Eveline and I home because we would not be able to catch the last bus... So i reached home at around 12.40am... super tired....
