Today was the end of the home stay... I was really sad to part with my family and I woke up early just to take a family photograph.. I definitely will miss my okasan's miso soup and my parent's laughter and joy that they bring... I missed living in that wonderful home.. (hopefully i will have other opportunity to stay in my "home" in Japan...) Anyway, my okasan drove me to school because Chie had lessons.. We arrived at ONCT and I got to meet up with the rest of the Oita group.. It was great to meet up with the rest of them and it was hard for me to switch speaking English because I had been speaking Japanese like most of my time during my home stay...

We had a lunch party (so called farewell party) and we had the opportunity to mingle with the students of ONCT and the other families... We had to bid farewell to our families... *sad*.... At around 1 plus, we were given time to rehearse our performance (Para Para Dance, Indian Dance, Percussion and a song called "My Way" by Frank Sinatra).. We were practising every minute that we were given... At around 2.15pm, we were called to the student hall where we were greeted by the head of the student council and the English club (which Chie is the head).. Forgel had to make a speak on behalf of the Oita group and he did his best to say it in Japanese.. So Bravo to him.... We also got to see the performance by the calligraphy club which was called "Sado" in Japanese and we actually had a chance to try it.. And finally it was our turn to perform.. of course we did not do as well as we expected but we had loads of fun and the audience loved us so it does not matter... After the performance, we played musical chairs and I must say this game is perfectly suited for Singaporeans as we proudly showed our character called "Kiasu"... I managed to be the last 4 standing and we decided to let Samuel win (because the remainder 4 were Singaporeans) and he had to do a forfeit... And Samuel did hard gay... SUPER HILARIOUS!!! He sounded exactly the same!! LOL!!

We were introduced to our tutors who will be in charged of us and were briefed about the rules and regulation of the dormitory... After that, we had our dinner in the dining hall.
Girls were not allowed to sit with the guys... Dunno why so strict!!!

We got to mingle with the other dormitory students as well... I was not feeling good because I realised that my camera was missing... *super sad*..

The dormitory had rather strict rules such as

1) Girls are not allowed to go out before 7am and after 10 plus
2) Girls are not allowed to boys' dormitory and vice versa
3) The public bathe used by the students there will be closed after 9pm
4) Have to wear the slippers being provided by the dormitory
5) Have to take out the slippers before entering the roo
m (which i had a hard time remembering)
6) If we were to put food/drinks in the refrigerator, we have to label them.

Everyday during our dormitory stay, we had to meet up with Mr Lee and the other 2 senseis called Anai Sensei and Kikugawa Sensei for "health check" where they will brief us about the next day's event... I was really impressed by Anai Sensei's English because he spoke in a British kind of accent and he spoke really well...

My wonderful family.. took the picture at 6.30am.. haha..

Schoo's Dining hall: Had our meals here and our meetings here..

This is where we collect our food...

We have to put our bowls/plates on the blue convey belt and dump the liquid on the running water...

The first dormitory where the girls stayed in... The other 4 dorms are occupied by the guys..

The outside of the dorm, The door has an automatic alarm so girls can't seek out..

Me and Elaine's dormitory room..

The "living room" which consist of a television, magazine racks and 2-3 computers...

The Mini Kitchen!!

The toilet... So clean!!!
