Finally, the day we have been waiting for... 6th Feb 2010.. This was the day for our BD presentation... Have been slogging out for the past few days (sleeping at no later than 2.30am) just to prepare powerpoint slides, videos and potential questions that we might face during the Q&A session.
Reach school at 7.45am today on a Saturday morning... We were the 2nd group to present and was really anxious while waiting for the first group to present. When it was our turn to present, we were very nervous but thankfully our judges were nodding their heads and agreeing to the points that we had to present. After presentation, to our surprise, our judges liked our idea and said a few interesting comments.
One of the judges actually said that he knew the Jurong Point Marketing Executive Karen Goh. (We contacted her via email to ask her regarding the rental price for a kiosk in Jurong Point). He also said he liked our idea very much and even said that our sales forecast was realistic (that was a shocker really!!!) The judges also gave us suggestions on how to sustain our business in the future and how to even promote our business to reach to our target market better)
They were seriously impress with our marketing campaigns (especially the interschool competition and charity campaigns.. they like our poster =D!) and our video!!!
After leaving the classroom, we were jumping for joy and quickly headed to the FC to take photos to capture this moment. We went to celebrate by eating our lunch at IKEA together with Zhi Min... I enjoyed their sweedish meetballs..

Ryan: The "General Manager" in our team... (No more Bellboy!)

Darren: "Driver"

Eveline: "Alien"..

Wei Xian: "Onion"
We first started out as strangers one year ago, but look how far we come.. I still remember the day that we had to select our BD members... 2 from Banking, 2 from HR and 1 from marketing.. I remember dreading it because I wanted so much to form our own group. Without knowing anyone from the other diplomas, we had to rely on other friends to introduce their friends to us. Thankfully, we managed to get along with each other. Seeing other groups falling apart, I am glad that we are not one of them. I enjoyed the times that we discussed our ideas, make fun of each other and BC.. During the 2nd Semester, we even managed to befriend Zhen Liang, Ryan's friend. BD class was fun...
Thank you, Eveline, Wei Xian, Ryan, Darren and Zhen Liang...

BEST BD GROUP!!!
