Highlights of Taiwan Trip with Eveline, En Tong, Ben, Zhi Min, Jeraine and Julia.
22nd March
- Touchdown at Taoyuan International Airport. Took the shuttle bus to our hotel; Luckynews Classic Hotel
- Shocking thing about the room is the bathroom. The glass panels were translucent O_O.
- Went to Taoyuan Night Market
23rd March
- Woke up at 7.30am and had breakfast which was served to our room.
- Took a shuttle bus to Taoyuan Train station where we took a train to Hsinchu.
- Headed to Leo Foo Village Theme Park. Took the top 3 rides and was glad to be able to sit the most scariest ride (Thanks to Eveline;) We all soared like an eagle on that day.
- Went to meet Eveline's cousin who treated us to Taoyuan's famous duck noodles. We also ate ice kachang and drank bubble tea.
24th March
- Woke up early and made our way to Yilan via train.
- Reached Shangri-la Leisure Farm at around 2 plus. Really nice greenery and kinda reminded me of Genting since that hotel was up the hill.
- Had a full course dinner and participated in the night activities; got to write our wishes on the latern and played sparklers.
25th March
- made our way to Taipei via train. Took MRT from Taipei Main Station to Ximen Station.
- bought CDs from the shop in Taipei Main Station.
- Checked in and had lunch at the toilet restaurant.
- Headed towards Danshui to see the famous fishermen's whaf. Was freezing cold as the weather suddenly dipped from 23 degrees to around 14-15 degrees or less.
- After that, we went to Shilin Night Market.
26th March
- Went to the National Palace Museum to see the famous "cabbage"and "pork" jewel.
- Shopped at Ximending and both Eveline and Ben managed to get Show Luo's autograph and photograph at the Rose CD shop.
- Went to search the Johnny's shop and managed to buy some photos and ARASHI AU pamplets.
- Ate steamboat for dinner (Ben's mother's friend treated us). The steamboat was around S$20 and they even had Haagen Dazs Ice cream..
27th March
- Decided not to eat breakfast at Royal Castle Hotel and instead went to Mac to eat. Very cheap; cost around $2.50 (main + hot drink).
- went to Taipei 101..
- made our way to Wufenpu to shop till 4-5 plus.
- bought alot of clothes.
- Went to Mr J's restaurant located in National Medical University
28th March
- Ate KFC breakfast and went our seperate ways.
- I went to Wufenpu alongside with Jeraine and Julia for last minute shopping.
- Left our hotel at 4pm and arrived at Taoyuan International Airport at 5 plus.
