I did managed to catch the Australian Open Final on Star Sports at around 4pm... It was an exciting match since these two players Novak Djokovic (Serbian) and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (French) knocked out the world number 1 and 2 respectively to land a spot in the finals. It was a sensational match against these two fighters on the court. While Tsonga was unseeded, he played like one of the top players and showed that he should be recognised. He created alot of problems for Djokovic with his powerful forehand and serve. I was of course, cheering for Djokovic to win the title and was screaming like a silly fan on my sofa. Eventhough Djokovic did dropped a set in the 1st match, he recovered quickly and showed that his 3rd ranking is not just a status but something he earned throughout his hardwork. The match ended with a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (2) in Sunday night's final and Serbia has her first grandslam champion.
